PRESIDENT
Lucas Grant
The President works in collaboration with all executive committee members and oversees the general functioning of the society. They ensure that all society projects and events go off without a hitch whilst also representing PolSoc at SU and University of Warwick events.
VICE PRESIDENT & SECRETARY
Will Gibson
The Vice-President works with the President to ensure the smooth-running of the society and undertakes administrative and secretarial work.
TREASURER
Jack Keen
The Treasurer is responsible for managing society finances and works with our partners to secure sponsorships for the society.
PERSPECTIVES EDITORS-IN-CHIEF
Rhys Noctor & Maryam Munshi
The Editors-in-Chief are in charge of the content and direction of our student magazine, Perspectives. They manage and edit the print editions of the magazine, online content and the podcast.
ACADEMIC OFFICERS
Jovan Sanghera and Vaanya Kalra
The Academic Officers arrange guest speakers, debates and panels for members, aiming to achieve a broad political balance in the views of speakers across their term.
SOCIAL SECRETARIES
Ella Chandra and Sam John
The Social Secretaries organise regular social events for members. They are also responsible for ensuring that all events are accessible, inclusive and of course fun!
CAREERS OFFICER
Adam Sharpe
The Careers Officer is responsible for organising and co-ordinating the society’s careers-related events and communications. They assist members with their future career paths by providing support and opportunities for development.
CHARITIES & WELFARE OFFICER
Willow Hider
The Charities & Welfare Officer is responsible for the welfare of society members and run our mentoring scheme. They also organise charitable activities, including volunteering and fundraising.
PUBLICITY OFFICERS
Gbemi Oyawoye & Iven Hu
The Publicity Officers co-ordinate both online and offline promotion of society events and projects. They maintain the society’s online presence and social media accounts.
SPORTS OFFICER
Jake Richards
The Sports Officer oversees the running of the society’s football and netball teams.
BALL OFFICER
Suzan Hasanli
The Ball Officer is responsible for the organisation of our annual ball. They are responsible for ensuring that the ball is accessible and exciting for members.
